Valentine's Day

Ah Valentine's Day. Can you feel the love in the air? Seriously I'm not going to be one of those guys who are bitter about being single on Valentine's Day nor am I going to address it as Single's Awareness Day. It is what it is.

Valentine's Day is a celebration for the guys who mustered up the courage to get a chicks phone number. It is also a day when chicks get chocolate and flowers. Except I think today is different because all the Chinese couples are off with their respective family members and getting fat. While the chicks are with their family members...getting fat.

People seem to forget that Valentine's Day is not a day to celebrate love. But rather to celebrate St. Valentine's fight for love.

I'm not claiming I know the whole story. Just some dude who secretly married people and died for it.

But here's something I don't understand. There are about 365 days in a year. Why pick the 14th of February to express your love?

To me the 14th of February will just be another day in the calendar.
